Dong-E-Jiao proposes $127m dividend, eyes shareholder return

Dong-EE-Jiao (SZSE: 000423) announced its 2024 profit distribution plan, proposing a cash dividend of RMB 12.70 per 10 shares, totaling RMB 817.85 million, pending shareholder approval at the annual general meeting. Coupled with a previously executed share repurchase program costing RMB 75.87 million, the total shareholder return for 2024 reaches RMB 1.63 billion, representing 104.72% of the net profit attributable to shareholders. The proposed distribution stems from a net profit of RMB 1.44 billion, with plans to allocate any remaining profit in future years. The company also released an updated estimate of routine related transactions for 2025, anticipating an expenditure not exceeding RMB 1072.33 million. This reflects Dong-EE-Jiao's efforts to balance operational needs with shareholder compensation while maintaining alignment and commitment to core business sectors.
