Hongchuang Aluminum sales up despite net loss

Shandong Hongchuang Aluminum Industry Holding (SZSE:002379) reported a 29.73% increase in revenue for 2024, reaching 3.49 billion yuan, compared to 2.69 billion yuan in 2023. Despite the revenue growth, the company recorded a net loss attributable to shareholders of 68.98 million yuan, an improvement from the 145.22 million yuan loss the previous year. The basic and diluted loss per share was 0.0607 yuan. The company attributed the improved performance to increased sales volume and higher domestic and international aluminum prices. However, market competition and cost pressures remain challenges. It did not declare cash dividends, a stock dividend, or an increase in capital reserves for the year.
