BYD shareholder holdings diluted by new H-share placement

** BYD Co. Ltd. (SZSE:002594) announced a passive dilution in the shareholding ratio of shareholders holding more than 5%, including Lu Xiangyang and his concerted actor, Rongjie Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. This dilution occurred due to the company's placement of 129.8 million new H-shares. The placement resulted in an increase of the total issued shares from 2,909,265,855 shares to 3,039,065,855 shares. Consequently, the combined holdings of Lu Xiangyang and Rongjie Investment were diluted from 13.56% to 12.98%. The company indicated that the change does not involve any change in the number of shares held by shareholders, a change in the controlling shareholder, or affect the company's governance structure.
