East Group shareholder pledges shares for guarantee

East Group (SZSE:300376) announced that shareholder Xinping Huimeng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. pledged 2.15 million shares, representing 0.9234% of the company's total share capital. The pledge, effective March 10, 2025, serves as a guarantee for East Group, according to the announcement. As of the disclosure date, Xinping Huimeng’s pledged shares do not face the risk of forced liquidation. Separately, East Group's largest shareholder, Yangzhou East Group Co., Ltd., has pledged over 50% of its holdings, with a cumulative pledged amount of 17.5752 million shares. The Company said that pledged shares will not have an impact on operations.
