Xuerong Bio suspends convertible bond conversion amid control change

Shanghai Xuerong Biotechnology (SZSE:300511) announced the suspension of conversion for its "Xuerong Convertible Bonds" (123056) starting March 6, 2025. This decision follows notification from controlling shareholder Yang Yongping regarding plans for a potential change in the company's control. Citing compliance with Shenzhen Stock Exchange regulations, Xuerong has also halted trading of its stock (300511) for a period expected to be no more than two trading days. The company emphasized that the bond conversion suspension is in line with exchange guidelines and will remain in effect during the stock trading halt. Xuerong will release further announcements regarding the control change and subsequent resumption of bond conversion as developments occur. The original conversion period for the bonds was from January 4, 2021 to June 3, 2026.
