Zhongxing Bio-Tech to upgrade production line for Cordyceps cultivation

Tianshui Zhongxing Bio-Technology (SZSE:002772) announced that its Fifth Board of Directors has approved a plan for its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shaanxi Zhongxing Hi-Tech Biotechnology, to invest in an upgrade and transformation project. The project will repurpose the existing, now-suspended, *enoki* mushroom production line into a "Cordyceps Factory-Like Bionic Cultivation Upgrade Project". The decision was made at the ninth meeting of the board held on February 18, 2025, with all nine attending directors voting in favor. The company intends to enhance its core competitiveness and explore future development opportunities through this diversification of its business. The board's strategy committee had already reviewed and approved the proposal before it was submitted to the full board.
