Shandong Meichen chairman resigns, new director nominee announced

Shandong Meichen Ecology & Environment (SZSE:300237) announced the resignation of Chairman Sun Laihua due to work requirements, effective February 17, 2025. The board has appointed Wang Yonggang to temporarily assume Chairman duties until a successor is elected. Concurrently, the board nominated Liu Zichuan as a candidate for non-independent director, recommended by the controlling shareholder, Weifang State-owned Assets Investment Holding Co., Ltd. Liu Zichuan currently serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Weifang State-owned Assets Investment Holding Co., Ltd. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval.
