Zhongfu Straits unit bankruptcy pre-reorganization update

Zhongfu Straits Pingtan Development (SZSE:000592) provided an update on the pre-reorganization filing for its subsidiary, Fujian Zhongfu Straits Building Materials City Co., Ltd. ("Zhongfu Jiancai"). The company, acting as a creditor, filed the application with the court, and the matter is currently under review. There is no guarantee the court will accept the application. Zhongfu Straits and Zhongfu Jiancai will cooperate with the court's assessment of the pre-reorganization feasibility. The company reiterated that the pre-reorganization process, regardless of the outcome, will not lead to trading suspension, delisting, or other special treatments of its stock.
