Changhong to elect new directors at early 2026 extraordinary general meeting

Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd. (Changhong) will convene its first extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for 2026 on January 5, 2026. The meeting will be held at the company's conference room in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, and will include both a physical gathering and online voting via the Shanghai Stock Exchange's network voting system. Online voting will be accessible from 9:15 to 9:25, 9:30 to 11:30, and 13:00 to 15:00 on January 5, 2026.

The primary agenda item is the election of new non-independent directors to the twelfth board of directors. This follows the resignations of Mr. Hou Zongtai, Mr. Duan Enchuan, and Mr. He Long on December 18, 2025, due to work-related changes. The board's nomination committee has proposed Mr. Zhang Xiaolong and Mr. Shao Min as candidates.

Mr. Zhang Xiaolong, born in February 1975, holds a master's degree and currently serves as deputy general manager and chief accountant of Sichuan Changhong Electronics Holding Group Co., Ltd. Mr. Shao Min, born in March 1983, also holds a master's degree and is currently a party committee member and deputy general manager of Sichuan Changhong Electronics Holding Group Co., Ltd., as well as chairman of Sichuan Changhong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Changhong Innovation Investment Co., Ltd.

The company's board of directors, at its forty-first meeting on December 19, 2025, approved the nominations. Shareholders will vote on these appointments using a cumulative voting system. Neither Mr. Zhang Xiaolong nor Mr. Shao Min hold shares in Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd. as of the meeting date. Both candidates have related-party relationships with the controlling shareholder, Sichuan Changhong Electronics Holding Group Co., Ltd.
