Sichuan Chuantou Energy announces controlling shareholder transition

Sichuan Chuantou Energy Co., Ltd. has announced an ongoing change in its controlling shareholder. The new controlling shareholder will be Sichuan Energy Development Group Co., Ltd., which will assume direct and indirect shareholdings previously held by Sichuan Provincial Investment Group Co., Ltd. This change results from a merger establishing Sichuan Energy Development Group from Chuantou Group and Sichuan Provincial Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. The company's actual controller will remain the Sichuan Provincial Government State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

The company initially disclosed plans for the strategic reorganization in November 2024, with subsequent updates throughout late 2024 and early 2025. On March 1, 2025, and March 6, 2025, Sichuan Chuantou Energy released a summary of the acquisition report and other related documents detailing the equity changes.

As of this announcement date, the registration and transfer procedures for the company shares directly held by Chuantou Group have not yet been completed, nor have the related industrial and commercial registration changes. The company pledges to continue monitoring the progress and fulfilling its information disclosure obligations.
