Independent director steps down from Caihong Display Devices board

Caihong Display Devices Co., Ltd. has announced the resignation of Mr. Peng Junbiao, an independent director. Mr. Peng submitted his written resignation after approaching the maximum six-year term for independent directors. Consequently, he will also step down from his roles on the board's specialized committees.

Mr. Peng's original term was set to expire on December 26, 2025. He will continue to fulfill his duties as an independent director and a member of the board's specialized committees in accordance with relevant laws and the company's articles of association until a new independent director is elected by the shareholders.

The company acknowledges that Mr. Peng's departure will temporarily reduce the number of independent directors to less than one-third of the board's total members. Caihong Display Devices has expressed its sincere gratitude to Mr. Peng for his dedicated service and significant contributions to the company's standardized operations and sustainable development during his tenure. The company will promptly initiate the process to elect a new independent director.
