Dongfang Electric approves major Xinjiang wind power project

Dongfang Electric Corporation's board of directors approved a major investment in a 100-megawatt wind power project in Ruoqiang, Xinjiang. All seven participating directors unanimously voted in favor of the proposal during a meeting on December 24, 2025.

The project, to be developed by Dongfang Electric Wind Power Co., Ltd., a controlled subsidiary, through Ruoqiang Dongxin New Energy Co., Ltd., has a total investment not exceeding CNY 3,220,613,000. Dongfang Electric Wind Power will also increase its capital contribution to the project company by CNY 659,000,000.
