Southern Power Grid Energy Storage elects new board and management

Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Co., Ltd. (SSE:600995) held its 2025 Fourth Extraordinary General Meeting on December 22, 2025, where shareholders elected the company's ninth board of directors. Key resolutions included the election of Liu Guogang, Li Dinglin, Fan Xiaodong, Zhang Kun, and Du Yunhui as non-independent directors, and Chen Qijuan, Wang Xiaojin, and Zhang Lizai as independent directors. Mr. Xiao Zhifu was elected as a staff representative director.

Following the general meeting, the Ninth Board of Directors convened its first meeting to elect Mr. Liu Guogang as chairman and establish various specialized committees. The board also approved the appointment of new senior management, with Mr. Li Dinglin as general manager, and Mr. Gao Lei, Mr. Zhou Jian, Mr. Sun Liqun, Mr. Huang Hai, and Ms. Li Yuanjuan as deputy general managers. Mr. Gao Lei will also serve as chief accountant, and Mr. Zhong Lin was appointed board secretary.

Notably, resolutions regarding the change of accounting firm, confirmation of strategic investors and related transactions for Zhaojing Langjiang pumped storage power generation, Maoming pumped storage power generation, and the 2026 annual related party transactions were also approved. The new board and management are set for a three-year term, effective from the date of the General Meeting's approval.
