GAC Group board approves 2026 operating plan, beginning 15th Five-Year Plan

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC Group) held its Seventh Board of Directors' 16th meeting on December 19, 2025, approving the company's 2026 operating plan. The board, chaired by Feng Xingya, discussed the company's future direction, passing the resolution unanimously with 10 votes in favor.

The year 2026 marks the beginning of GAC Group's "15th Five-Year Plan." The company plans to focus on three key areas: "stabilizing joint ventures, strengthening independent brands, and expanding the ecosystem," while executing three major campaigns: "user demand, product value, and service experience." This strategic approach is designed to ensure a smooth start and foster high-quality development.

Key initiatives for 2026 include accelerating reform measures, breaking through with core vehicle models, enhancing brand leadership, achieving breakthroughs in technology, expanding overseas markets, and deepening ecological empowerment. The plan also emphasizes implementing lean management, leveraging AI for smart manufacturing, and strengthening talent development.
