CNCEC posts strong contract growth, architectural engineering leads January-November results

China National Chemical Engineering Co. (CNCEC) reported total contract value of 3,525.69 bn yuan for January-November 2025, arising from 4,332 contracts. Architectural engineering contracting was the largest segment, securing 3,401.64 bn yuan from 2,666 contracts. Within this, chemical engineering projects accounted for 2,863.41 bn yuan, infrastructure projects contributed 476.23 bn yuan, and environmental treatment projects 62.00 bn yuan.

Other key business areas included survey, design, supervision, and consulting with 30.10 bn yuan, and sales of industrial products and new materials generating 88.02 bn yuan.

Geographically, domestic contracts amounted to 2,601.92 bn yuan, while international contracts contributed 923.77 bn yuan. In November alone, CNCEC secured significant individual contracts exceeding 500 million yuan, including a project for the Nigeria MIPL fertilizer plant valued at approximately 151.65 bn yuan.

Other significant contracts awarded in November included a 9.77 bn yuan project for polypropylene plant construction by Hualu Engineering & Technology Co., and a 9.23 bn yuan EPC contract for a vanadium recovery center in Saudi Arabia secured by China Tianchen Engineering Co.
