China Unicom subsidiary completes strategic industry fund registration

China United Network Communications announced its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, China Unicom Innovation and Entrepreneurship Investment Co., Ltd., has completed the registration of its investment in the Central State-Owned Enterprises' New Strategic Industry Fund. The fund, which received 150,000 yuan from China Unicom Innovation and Entrepreneurship Investment Co., Ltd., was officially registered with the Asset Management Association of China on December 16, 2025, under code SBJZ71.

This investment aims to align with national strategic deployments, promoting the development of new strategic and future industries among central state-owned enterprises. The fund will focus on nine key strategic industries, exploring new future industry tracks and integrating innovation and industrial chains. The investment aligns with China Unicom's core business and is expected to broaden its industrial cooperation ecosystem without impacting its normal operations or shareholder interests.

As of December 16, 2025, China Unicom's total investment in various private equity funds, including this one, amounts to 987,650 yuan. The company cautions investors about potential risks such as market fluctuations, policy changes, and operational challenges inherent in fund management.
