Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power announces senior management changes

Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power Co., Ltd. recently received resignation letters from key senior executives, including chairman and general manager Liu Yumin, deputy general manager Wu Hao, and chief engineer Xie Weiyang.

Liu Yumin resigned from his general manager position due to work adjustments but will continue as chairman and party secretary. Wu Hao resigned as deputy general manager for work adjustments and will now serve as deputy party secretary. Xie Weiyang's resignation as chief engineer is attributed to age.

The resignations are effective from December 11, 2025. The company stated that these resignations, effective upon submission to the board of directors, will not impact the normal production and operation of the company.

Liu Yumin and Wu Hao will continue to serve in the company and its controlled subsidiaries, with Liu Yumin transitioning to chairman and party secretary, and Wu Hao to deputy party secretary. Xie Weiyang, however, will not continue in a role within the company or its subsidiaries. The announcement confirms that there are no unfulfilled public commitments by the departing executives.
