Sichuan Chuantou Energy announces new board election

Sichuan Chuantou Energy Co., Ltd. announced the expiration of its Eleventh Board of Directors' term and the initiation of the election process for the Twelfth Board. The new board will consist of 11 directors: 6 non-independent directors, 4 independent directors, and 1 employee director.

The board meeting on December 12, 2025, approved the nomination of non-independent director candidates Liu Shengjin, Huang Qiang, Han Yunwen, Zhao Yunlong, Tu Ying, and Zeng Zhiwei, as well as independent director candidates Xiang Yongzhong, Wang Jinfa, Tang Zhongcheng, and Zheng Shengan. Independent director candidates Xiang Yongzhong, Wang Jinfa, and Tang Zhongcheng have already obtained the necessary qualifications or training, while Zheng Shengan has committed to attending the required training. All nominated candidates meet legal and regulatory requirements and have no disqualifying circumstances.

These proposals will be submitted for approval at the company's Third Interim Shareholders' Meeting in 2025, where directors will be elected through cumulative voting. The term of office for the newly elected directors will be three years, effective from the date of approval at the shareholders' meeting. The Eleventh Board will continue to fulfill its duties until the new board is approved.
