Zhongyuan Securities to vote on new independent director candidates

Zhongyuan Securities Co., Ltd. will hold its first extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025 on December 22 in Zhengzhou to vote on the election of independent directors. The company's seventh board of directors nominated Mr. Wang Hui, Mr. Wang Huixuan, and Mr. Du Xiaotang as candidates for independent directors.

Mr. Wang Hui, born in 1979, holds a Ph.D. in accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and has served as cfo for multiple investment and pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Wang Huixuan, born in 1966, holds a Ph.D. from Tianjin University and has extensive experience in macroeconomic management and leadership, including roles at China Life and PICC Life. He also served as an executive director for Unisplendour Group.

Mr. Du Xiaotang, born in 1974, holds a Ph.D. from Fudan University. His background includes roles as a university lecturer, lawyer, and managing director for Everbright Holdings. He has also held independent non-executive directorships for China Tianrui Group Cement Co., Ltd. and China First Capital Group Ltd., and is currently an executive director for Elite Group Ltd.
