Shaanxi Coal sees mixed November results as power generation dips

Shaanxi Coal Industry Company Limited announced its main operating data for November 2025. In the coal segment, November coal production increased by 5.18% year-on-year to 1,479.00 ten thousand tonnes, with cumulative production up 2.94% to 16,016.56 ten thousand tonnes. Self-produced coal sales in November rose by 6.03% to 1,355.00 ten thousand tonnes, and cumulative sales increased by 2.58% to 14,684.01 ten thousand tonnes compared to the previous year.

Conversely, the power generation segment experienced a decline. Total power generation in November decreased by 11.47% year-on-year to 31.38 hundred million kilowatt-hours, and cumulative generation fell by 2.15% to 380.07 hundred million kilowatt-hours. Total electricity sales also saw a drop, with November sales down 11.78% to 29.50 hundred million kilowatt-hours and cumulative sales down 1.41% to 356.61 hundred million kilowatt-hours.
