Greenland holdings faces new lawsuits totaling billions

Between November 14 and December 2, 2025, Greenland Holdings and its controlled subsidiaries reported 1,595 new lawsuits, totaling 61.63 billion yuan. The company was named as a defendant in 1,512 cases, accounting for 55.59 billion yuan. These defendant cases primarily involved construction engineering/procurement disputes (634 cases, 23.54 billion yuan), real estate sales/leasing disputes (559 cases, 2.13 billion yuan), and other disputes (319 cases, 29.92 billion yuan).

As a plaintiff, Greenland Holdings initiated 83 lawsuits during the same period, seeking 6.04 billion yuan. These plaintiff cases included construction engineering/procurement disputes (35 cases, 4.10 billion yuan), real estate sales/leasing disputes (20 cases, 0.39 billion yuan), and other disputes (28 cases, 1.55 billion yuan).

The company acknowledged the continued adjustment cycle in the real estate and infrastructure industries, emphasizing its commitment to resolving these legal matters through dedicated work teams and enhanced oversight. Greenland Holdings will continue to manage these challenges to mitigate their impact on operations and will perform accounting treatments in accordance with relevant standards.
