Lu'an Huanneng chairman retires, interim successor appointed

Shanxi Lu'an Environmental Energy Development Co., Ltd. (SSE:601699) announced today that Wang Zhiqin has resigned from his positions as director, chairman, and member and convener of the strategic committee of the eighth board of directors, due to reaching the statutory retirement age. Wang Zhiqin will no longer hold any positions within the company and does not hold any company shares as of the disclosure date. His resignation takes effect immediately.

To ensure the continued operation and decision-making of the company, the board has jointly nominated Han Yuming, a current director, to temporarily assume the responsibilities of chairman and member and convener of the strategic committee. This interim appointment will last until a new chairman is officially elected by the board. The company will promptly follow legal and regulatory procedures to nominate and elect a new chairman and complete the necessary appointments for the strategic committee.
