Hongcheng Environmental secures major Nanchang wastewater project contract

Jiangxi Hongcheng Environmental Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned sub-subsidiary, Jiangxi Hongcheng Environmental Construction Co., Ltd., has received a notice of award for the "Nanchang Xinjian Economic Development Zone Wastewater Treatment Plant and Pipe Network Integrated Engineering EPC General Contract" project. The total amount for the project is 852,993,055.13 yuan.

The project involves the construction of a 60,000-ton/day wastewater treatment plant and approximately 192.68km of new and renovated wastewater pipe networks. This includes 19.76km of effluent discharge pipes, 42.55km of wastewater collection pipes, and 127.7km of renovated wastewater pipes. The project's maximum pipe diameter is 1.6 meters, with discharge standards set at Class A. The total construction period is 36 months, comprising a 2-month design period and a 34-month construction period.

The engineering company, as the lead entity in a consortium with Nanchang Urban Planning and Design Research Institute Group Co., Ltd., will be responsible for project construction. This contract is expected to expand the company's operating scale and positively impact its current and future financial performance, strengthening its water engineering business. Investors should note that a formal contract is yet to be signed, and the final terms are subject to change.
