GAC Group sees November production and sales decline, NEV segment grows

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. reported total vehicle production of 187,461 units in November 2025, a 9.71% year-over-year decrease. Year-to-date production reached 1,579,127 units, down 7.62% compared to the same period last year. Sales for November stood at 179,652 units, a 9.72% decline from the previous year, with year-to-date sales totaling 1,534,036 units, down 10.80%.

Despite the overall decline, the new energy vehicle segment showed growth, with November production increasing by 7.97% to 57,559 units and sales rising by 12.34% to 56,422 units. Year-to-date figures for new energy vehicles also saw increases in production (4.40% to 394,370 units) and sales (4.40% to 371,729 units), though sales saw a slight year-to-date decline of 1.51%.

Key subsidiaries experienced varied performance. GAC Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. saw production drop by 16.03% in November and sales decline by 22.97%. GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. reported a 16.57% decrease in November production and a 9.40% decrease in sales. In contrast, GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. had a modest 0.61% decrease in November production and a 0.68% increase in sales.
