China Eastern Airlines reduces share capital in November

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited reported a decrease in its issued share capital for the month ended November 30, 2025. The total registered share capital at the end of the month was RMB 22,087,736,670.

For its H-shares, the company’s issued ordinary shares decreased by 114,006,000, moving from RMB 5,176,777,777 to RMB 5,062,771,777. This reduction was attributed to a share repurchase and cancellation event on November 11, 2025, approved by shareholders on November 8, 2024.

Similarly, the company's A-shares saw a decrease of 89,553,900 issued ordinary shares, reducing the total from RMB 17,114,518,793 to RMB 17,024,964,893. This change also resulted from a share repurchase and cancellation on November 11, 2025, following a shareholder resolution on November 8, 2024. The total decrease in issued shares across both classes for the month was 203,559,900.
