Xinji Energy appoints Qian Dexing as employee representative director

China Coal Xinji Energy Co., Ltd. (the company) held its Second Fifth Employee Representative Congress on November 27, 2025, where Mr. Qian Dexing was elected as the employee representative director for the company's Eleventh Board of Directors. Mr. Qian's term will commence from the date of his election and last until the expiration of the Eleventh Board of Directors' term. The Eleventh Board will consist of nine directors, with Mr. Qian joining eight non-employee representative directors elected at the company's 2024 annual general meeting.

Mr. Qian Dexing, born in June 1968, holds a postgraduate degree in business administration and is an economist. His career includes various leadership roles within the coal and energy sectors, such as deputy director of the First Engineering Department of Datun Coal & Electricity Company's Special Construction Foundation Engineering General Company, and director of the office at Jiangsu Datun Aluminum Co., Ltd. Prior to his current appointment, he served as deputy secretary of the Party Committee at China Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd. Xinjiang Branch.

Mr. Qian currently serves as the deputy secretary of the Party Committee for China Coal Xinji Energy Co., Ltd. He does not hold any shares in the company and has not been subjected to penalties or disciplinary actions by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Shanghai Stock Exchange, or other relevant authorities. His appointment aligns with the requirements of the "Company Law," "Self-Regulatory Guidelines for Listed Companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange No. 1 - Standardized Operations," and the "Articles of Association" regarding the qualifications for employee representative directors. Following this election, the total number of directors who are also senior management or employee representatives on the Eleventh Board of Directors will not exceed one-half of the total number of directors, in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
