GAC Group appoints new board secretary, outlines strategic plan

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC Group) held its 14th board meeting of the seventh session on November 28, 2025. All ten participating directors unanimously approved key appointments and strategic plans. Mr. Liu Xiangneng has been appointed as the company's board secretary (joint company secretary), serving a term consistent with the current board.

Mr. Liu brings extensive experience, previously holding roles such as director of the board office and supervisory board office, head of capital operations, and deputy head of financial headquarters at GAC Group, as well as director and general manager of GAC Capital Co., Ltd. His appointment was approved by all 10 votes, with 0 against and 0 abstentions. Concurrently, Mr. Yu Jun will no longer serve as deputy general manager due to the expiration of his term.

The board also unanimously approved adjustments to the company's organizational structure and the "15th Five-Year Plan" development outlines, including the plan for its independent brands. These strategic initiatives aim to strengthen joint ventures, enhance independent brands, and expand the ecological layout. GAC Group is committed to winning three major battles: the "user demand battle," the "product value battle," and the "service experience battle," to support the re-creation of a new GAC.
