Citic Financial Asset raises stake in China Everbright Bank to 9%

China Citic Financial Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Citic Financial Asset) has announced an increase in its stake in China Everbright Bank Company Limited. Between July 24, 2025, and November 27, 2025, Citic Financial Asset acquired an additional 275,000,700 A shares and 315,285,000 H shares of China Everbright Bank.

This acquisition represents a total increase of 1.00% of China Everbright Bank's total share capital. Consequently, Citic Financial Asset's ownership in the bank has risen from 8.00% to 9.00%. The total shareholding after this adjustment is 5,317,699,688 shares.

The equity change constitutes an increase in holdings and does not trigger a mandatory tender offer. It will not result in a change to China Everbright Bank's controlling shareholder or actual controller. The funds used for this acquisition were sourced from Citic Financial Asset's own capital.
