China Eastern Airlines to elect new director, securities representative resigns

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited announced its third extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for December 2, 2025, to elect Gao Fei as a director for the tenth board. Gao, 49, currently serves as the company's general manager and deputy party secretary, as well as a director, general manager, and deputy party secretary of China Eastern Airholding Co. Ltd. He previously held various leadership roles within China Southern Airlines.

The meeting agenda includes the review and approval of the proposal to elect Gao, who holds an MBA from Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University and a Master of Science in management research from MIT, along with a senior pilot qualification.

This meeting follows the resignation of Yang Hui as the company's securities affairs representative on November 25, 2025, due to job relocation. The company's board will appoint a qualified replacement to assist the board secretary. China Eastern Airlines expressed gratitude for Yang's contributions during his tenure.
