Sichuan Chuantou Energy to see controlling shareholder shift after merger

Sichuan Chuantou Energy Co. (SSE:600674) has announced ongoing progress regarding a change in its controlling shareholder. This shift results from the strategic merger of Sichuan Provincial Investment Group Co. and Sichuan Energy Investment Group Co. to establish Sichuan Energy Development Group Co.

Upon completion of this merger, Sichuan Energy Development Group will become the new controlling shareholder of Sichuan Chuantou Energy, taking over from Chuantou Group. The actual controller of the company, however, will remain the Sichuan Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
