Aiko Solar details Q3 2025 performance, strategic advancements

Shanghai Aiko Solar Energy held its 2025 third-quarter earnings conference on November 21, 2025, providing insights into its operational and financial results. The company highlighted its proprietary copper interconnection technology for ABC modules, a cost-saving innovation developed years ago to address silver consumption bottlenecks in the industry. This technology offers superior conductivity and enhanced durability compared to traditional silver-gridded modules.

The company announced a significant win, securing a contract for the Shanghai Lingang 650MW offshore photovoltaic project, leveraging its ABC modules' high conversion efficiency and robust performance in challenging marine environments. Third-generation full-screen ABC modules are now being mass-produced and shipped, with a conversion efficiency exceeding 25% (680W for the standard 2382mm*1134mm model). Deliveries are expected to increase significantly in 2026.

Aiko Solar’s financial health improved, with operating cash flow inflows exceeding 1.8 bn yuan in the first three quarters and a reduction in debt ratio by over eight percentage points year-to-date, partly due to a successful equity offering raising approximately 3.5 bn yuan. The company is actively expanding its international presence beyond Europe, particularly in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and other emerging markets, where it has seen strong growth and recognition.
