Bank of Communications to hold EGM for 2025 half-yearly profit distribution

Bank of Communications will hold its Fourth Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2025 on December 12, 2025, at 9:30 AM at its Shanghai headquarters. The meeting, convened by the board of directors, will utilize both on-site and online voting systems for A-share shareholders. The primary agenda item is to review and approve the "2025 Half-Yearly Profit Distribution Plan."

The proposed distribution plan, already approved by the board on August 29, 2025, outlines a cash dividend of CNY 1.563 (including tax) per 10 shares for all A-share and H-share holders registered as of June 30, 2025. This equates to a total cash dividend of CNY 13.811 bn, representing 30.0% of net profit attributable to parent company shareholders under IFRS and 31.2% under CAS. The bank's distributable profit stood at CNY 282.871 bn.

Meeting materials highlight that total ordinary shares as of June 30, 2025, amounted to 88.364 bn shares. Shareholders are required to register by December 11, 2025. The board seeks authorization to delegate the implementation of the profit distribution to senior management.
