Huayou Cobalt's controlling shareholder pledges additional shares for financing

Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. announced that its controlling shareholder, Huayou Holding Group Co., Ltd., recently pledged an additional 32,000,000 shares. This transaction, completed on November 19, 2025, and maturing on November 19, 2026, represents 10.37% of Huayou Holdings' total shares and 1.69% of the company's total share capital. The shares were pledged to Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd. as collateral for financing.

Following this pledge, Huayou Holdings' cumulative pledged shares now total 148,427,994, representing 48.09% of its total holdings and 7.83% of the company's total share capital. Including shares held by its concerted party, Mr. Chen Xuehua, the combined pledged shares amount to 174,947,994, which is 44.72% of their total holdings and 9.23% of the company's total share capital.

The company stated that the current share pledge poses a controllable risk and is not expected to significantly impact its operations, financing, or ongoing business capabilities. Huayou Holdings and its concerted parties have no overdue pledges within the next six to twelve months and possess sufficient capital repayment capacity.
