Hainan Airlines sees strong October passenger, cargo growth

Hainan Airlines Holding Co. reported robust growth in October 2025. Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) increased by 7.33% compared to the previous year, reaching 11,653.62 million. Domestic RPK grew by 3.15% to 9,197.70 million, while international RPK surged by 27.01% to 2,434.93 million. The total number of passengers carried in October rose by 3.59% to 6,100.34 thousand.

The airline also experienced substantial growth in cargo operations. Revenue tonne kilometers (RTK) for cargo and mail increased by 25.37%, totaling 184.91 million. The cargo and mail load factor saw a notable increase of 4.37 percentage points, reaching 56.61%. Overall, available seat kilometers (ASK) for the month expanded by 6.81%, reflecting increased capacity.

As of the end of October 2025, Hainan Airlines' fleet comprised 358 aircraft. The company acquired one A330NEO, one A321NEO, and two 737-8MAX aircraft during the month, contributing to its expanded operational capabilities.
