Shengyi Technology elects employee representative director, expands board

Guangdong Shengyi Technology Co. Ltd. announced on November 14, 2025, the election of Chen Renxi as an employee representative director. The election followed an employee representative congress held on November 13, 2025. Chen, previously a non-employee director, will now serve as an employee director for the Eleventh Board of Directors, with his term running until the expiration of the board's term.

The company also confirmed an expansion of its board, increasing the total number of director seats from 11 to 12 as approved at the third extraordinary general meeting on November 13, 2025. The number of independent directors will remain at four, while non-independent directors will increase from seven to eight, including one employee representative director. This adjustment, along with the appointment of one additional non-independent director, will maintain the overall structure of the Eleventh Board and its specialized committees.

Chen Renxi's qualifications meet all relevant legal, administrative, and regulatory requirements for a director. He has not been subject to any penalties or public condemnations from regulatory bodies, nor is he under investigation. His extensive background includes previous roles as general manager, vice general manager, and various directorships within the company and its subsidiaries, including Shengyi Electronics Co. Ltd. and Jiangsu Shengyi Special Materials Co. Ltd. Post-election, the proportion of directors also serving as senior management and employee representative directors will not exceed 50% of the total board, adhering to company bylaws and regulations.
