Baoshan Iron & Steel shareholders re-elect Deloitte Huayong as auditor

Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. held its 2025 fourth extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on November 13, 2025, at its technical center in Shanghai. The meeting was convened by the company's board of directors, with Zhou Xuedong serving as chairman. A total of 1,376 shareholders and proxies attended, representing 10,290,090,752 shares, or 48.1356% of the total voting shares.

The sole resolution concerned the appointment of Deloitte Huayong Certified Public Accountants as the independent auditor and internal control auditor for the 2025 fiscal year. It was approved with overwhelming support, as shareholders cast 10,285,186,047 votes in favor (99.9523%), 4,249,747 votes against (0.0412%), and 654,958 abstentions (0.0065%).

For shareholders holding less than 5% of the shares, the resolution also passed with strong approval: 657,303,263 votes in favor (99.2593%), 4,249,747 votes against (0.6417%), and 654,958 abstentions (0.0990%). Shanghai Fangda Law Firm confirmed that the meeting's procedures complied with relevant laws and regulations.
