OmniVision announces new general manager, leadership changes

OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group, Inc. (Will Semiconductor Shanghai) announced a leadership change effective November 12, 2025. Mr. Wang Song, previously the general manager and legal representative, has resigned from these roles due to work adjustments. He will continue to serve as deputy general manager, focusing on market development and new product research. Dr. Gao Wenbao, with over two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, has been appointed as the new general manager and legal representative, effective immediately.

The company also disclosed revisions to its Articles of Association, approved on November 12, 2025, following a shareholder meeting on June 18, 2025. These amendments are in preparation for the H-share issuance and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Key changes include clarifying voting rights for H-share holders and the process for appointing and dismissing the general manager and deputy general manager, reflecting the updated leadership structure and governance requirements for a dual-listed entity.

The amendments ensure that the company's governance aligns with the regulatory frameworks of both the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, maintaining consistency and transparency for investors across both markets. These revisions, approved by the board, came into effect upon the H-share listing.
