Sunong Bank appoints new president, two vice presidents

Jiangsu Suzhou Rural Commercial Bank (Sunong Bank) held an extraordinary meeting of its board of directors on November 3, 2025, to address key leadership changes. The board resolved to appoint Wang Liang as president, Fei Haijun as vice president, and Geng Zhi as vice president. Their terms will align with the current board of directors, pending approval from the national financial regulatory authority.

The appointments follow the resignation of Zhuang Yingjie from his roles as director and president, effective October 31, 2025, due to work-related changes. Wang Liang, currently the deputy party secretary, will assume the president's duties in an acting capacity for a maximum of six months until his appointment is officially approved. The board has also nominated Wang Liang and Xia Lijun as candidates for executive directors, which will be put to a shareholder vote on November 20, 2025.

All resolutions were unanimously approved by the 11 directors present. The board also approved an authorization letter for the president and the convening of the extraordinary general meeting in 2025.
