Shaanxi Coal sees strong October production, sales growth

Shaanxi Coal Industry Co., Ltd. reported a significant uplift in its key operating metrics for October 2025. Coal output reached 14.99m tons, an 8.99% year-on-year increase for the month. Cumulative production for the year grew by 2.72% to 145.38m tons. Self-produced coal sales for October stood at 13.91m tons, up 5.99% compared to the previous year, with cumulative sales reaching 133.29m tons, a 2.24% rise.

The company's power generation sector also saw robust growth. Total electricity generated in October 2025 was 3.32bn kilowatt-hours, representing a substantial 16.56% increase year-on-year. Total electricity sales followed suit, rising by 17.89% to 3.12bn kilowatt-hours for the month. Despite strong monthly gains, cumulative power generation for the year slightly decreased by 1.22% to 34.87bn kilowatt-hours, and cumulative electricity sales fell by 0.35% to 32.71bn kilowatt-hours.
