JAC Motors reports mixed October production and sales, with NEVs up

Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp (JAC Motors) released its October 2025 production and sales flash report, indicating a 3.86% year-on-year increase in total production for the month, reaching 31,523 units. However, cumulative production for the year to date decreased by 9.26% to 312,563 units. New energy passenger vehicle (NEPV) production saw an 18.37% increase in October, totaling 3,796 units, though year-to-date figures for this segment declined by 6.01% to 20,299 units.

Sales data for October showed a 5.49% rise year-on-year to 31,514 units. Despite this monthly growth, cumulative sales for the year decreased by 9.26% to 313,227 units. NEPV sales experienced a modest 3.74% increase in October, reaching 3,581 units, but year-to-date sales for this category were down 21.59% at 19,624 units.

Key production variations for October include a 28.87% decrease in SUV production but a 34.19% increase in basic passenger car (sedan) production. Sales performance also varied, with SUV sales declining by 49.27% in October, while basic passenger car (sedan) sales surged by 53.80%. Truck sales saw a 27.40% increase for the month.
