King Long Motor sees mixed October sales but strong year-to-date growth

Xiamen King Long Motor Group Co., Ltd. released its production and sales data for October 2025, showing a slight decrease in overall bus production for the month but a significant year-to-date increase. Total bus production in October was 4,608 units, a 1.26% decline compared to 4,667 units in the same month last year. However, year-to-date production reached 40,785 units, marking a 6.52% increase from 38,289 units in the prior year.

Sales figures also presented a mixed picture, with a monthly decline but cumulative growth. Bus sales in October totaled 4,121 units, down 14.71% from 4,832 units year-on-year. Despite the monthly dip, year-to-date sales were 38,983 units, representing a 3.23% increase over 37,763 units sold in the same period last year.

Within the bus categories, large bus production and sales saw decreases in October and slight year-to-date declines in sales. Medium bus production, however, surged by 33.94% in October, with sales also experiencing substantial growth both monthly (60.84%) and year-to-date (5.62%). Light bus production and sales decreased in October, but year-to-date figures showed increases of 11.19% for production and 7.59% for sales.
