Aiko Solar guarantees Zhejiang Aiko's $260m credit facility

Shanghai Aiko Solar Energy Co., Ltd. (Aiko Solar) has announced a new guarantee for Zhejiang Aiko Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Zhejiang Aiko) for a comprehensive credit facility of yuan 0.26 billion with the Export-Import Bank of China, Zhejiang Branch. This brings Aiko Solar's total outstanding guarantees, including this latest one, to yuan 113.35 billion for Zhejiang Aiko.

The guarantee falls within the previously approved yuan 362.00 billion annual guarantee limit for 2025, authorized by the company's board of directors and shareholders. As of the announcement date, Aiko Solar's cumulative external guarantees for its subsidiaries total yuan 234.81 billion. This figure represents 660.64% of the company's net assets as per its latest audited financial statements, with the actual outstanding debt under these guarantees amounting to yuan 139.19 billion. The company reported no overdue external guarantees.

This strategic move is deemed a necessary and reasonable business operation, supporting the sustainable development of its subsidiary and ensuring controlled guarantee risks. Zhejiang Aiko's financial performance shows total assets of yuan 261.97 billion, liabilities of yuan 190.18 billion, and net assets of yuan 71.78 billion as of September 30, 2025.
