Longi Green Energy boosts subsidiary guarantees by 503m yuan

Longi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries recently increased their aggregate guarantee amount by 503.0615 million yuan for various operational needs. This brings the total outstanding guarantee amount to 26.81 billion yuan as of October 31, 2025, representing 44.03% of the company's latest audited net assets attributable to the parent. Of this total, 26.454 billion yuan is for inter-company guarantees within the consolidated scope, and 356 million yuan is for external guarantees.

The guarantees primarily support the daily operations of fully-owned subsidiaries like LONGi Leye Photovoltaic Technology and several international Longi Solar entities, totaling 478.8626 million yuan for bank guarantees. Additionally, 3.9473 million yuan in bank guarantees was issued for the daily operations of the holding subsidiary Xi'an LONGi Hydrogen Energy Technology. Longi Leye also provided 20.2517 million yuan in bank guarantees for Longi Green Energy’s subsidiaries, Longi Green Energy (Hong Kong) and LONGi Solar France SARL.

The newly added guarantees fall within the scope approved by the company's Fifth Board of Directors and the 2024 First Extraordinary General Meeting. These authorizations allowed up to 50 billion yuan in new guarantees for wholly-owned subsidiaries and up to 2 billion yuan for holding subsidiaries for 2025. Several of the entities receiving these new guarantees have a debt-to-asset ratio exceeding 70%, indicating a higher risk, and there are no counter-guarantees for these new provisions.
