COSCO SHIPPING Energy inks bareboat charter deals for six VLCCs

COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Company Limited announced the signing of bareboat charter contracts for six VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) vessels on November 5, 2025. The agreements were made between a wholly-owned subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Energy or its designated overseas subsidiaries as charterers, and Hainan COSCO SHIPPING Energy or its designated subsidiaries as lessors.

This development follows previous announcements made on October 31, 2025, regarding the proposed bareboat charters and related party transaction. The key terms of these contracts remain unchanged from those previously disclosed.

The transaction is subject to approval by the company's shareholders, and related parties with an interest in the transaction will abstain from voting at the shareholders' meeting.
