PetroChina completes major share transfer to China Mobile

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has completed the transfer of 541,202,377 A-share shares in PetroChina Company Limited to China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. This transaction, representing 0.30% of PetroChina's total share capital, received approval from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. The share transfer registration was finalized on November 3, 2025.

Following the transfer, CNPC's direct holding in PetroChina A-shares now stands at 150,382,363,193 shares, reducing its direct stake to 82.17%. China Mobile Group now directly holds 541,202,377 A-shares, accounting for 0.30% of the total share capital. Including indirect holdings, China Mobile Group and its affiliates collectively own 719,996,677 shares, representing 0.39% of PetroChina.

This share transfer does not result in a change to PetroChina's controlling shareholder or actual controller. The details of this transaction were initially announced on September 2, 2025.
