China Eastern Airlines: Share capital stable in October, buyback cancellations pending

China Eastern Airlines Co. Ltd. submitted its monthly return of equity changes for October 2025, reporting no changes in its statutory/registered share capital for both A and H shares. As of October 31, 2025, the company's total registered share capital remained RMB22,291,296,570. The H-share capital stood at 5,176,777,777 shares, while the A-share capital was 17,114,518,793 shares. Both classifications maintained a par value of RMB1 per share.

The report indicated that no new shares were issued or repurchased and held in treasury during the month. However, it noted pending cancellation of previously repurchased shares. For A-shares, 89,553,900 shares were pending cancellation following a buyback approved on November 8, 2024. Similarly, for H-shares, 114,006,000 shares were pending cancellation from a buyback also approved on November 8, 2024. These figures reflect shares that were repurchased in current or prior months but had not yet been cancelled as of the end of October 2025.
