Foton Motor reports strong October production and sales growth

Beiqi Foton Motor Co. reported robust performance for October 2025, with total sales reaching 56,617 units, a 9.80% year-over-year increase. Total production hit 56,672 units, up 10.10% from the same period last year. Year-to-date sales for the company reached 536,678 units, while production totaled 539,990 units.

Commercial vehicles saw strong growth, particularly in heavy-duty trucks, with October sales surging by 52.95% to 14,276 units and production increasing by 48.30% to 14,252 units. New energy vehicles were a standout, reporting an impressive 98.83% increase in October sales to 8,006 units and a 99.25% rise in production to 8,386 units compared to the previous year. Cumulative sales for new energy vehicles for the first ten months of 2025 reached 82,339 units, with cumulative production at 85,719 units.

Engine products also contributed positively, with October sales up 1.24% to 22,819 units and production increasing by 8.81% to 25,204 units. Foton Daimler heavy-duty truck sales for October were 10,809 units, with year-to-date sales of 85,774 units, a cumulative increase of 79.67%. Foton Cummins engine sales for October totaled 15,659 units, bringing the year-to-date total to 149,603 units, a 15.24% cumulative increase.
