COSCO SHIPPING specialized carriers appoints new deputy general manager and general counsel

COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. held the third meeting of its ninth board of directors, announcing significant personnel changes. The board approved the appointment of Mr. Tan Yan as the company's deputy general manager and Mr. Xu Jiaoliu as the general counsel (chief compliance officer). Both appointments are effective from November 3, 2025, and will run until the conclusion of the current board's term.

The appointments were made following nominations by the board's nomination committee, with all nine directors voting in favor, resulting in a unanimous decision. The company confirmed that both individuals meet the qualifications for senior management as stipulated by relevant laws, regulations, normative documents, and the company's articles of association.

Mr. Tan Yan, born in 1989 and holding a Master of Laws, brings extensive experience in shipping operations and digital management. Mr. Xu Jiaoliu, born in 1979 and holding a Bachelor of Laws, has a rich background in legal affairs and corporate management. Their appointments are expected to bolster the company's strategic leadership and operational efficiency.
