Foton Motor reports strong q3 2025 performance, books 1,764% net profit surge

Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. announced a strong third quarter for 2025, with impressive financial results. The company's third-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders surged by RMB 318 million, reaching RMB 335,789,849.38, a 1,764.21% increase year-on-year. This growth was driven by a 15.15% rise in vehicle sales, including a 63% increase in new energy vehicle sales to 24,000 units, and a 1.71 percentage point reduction in period expense ratio. Year-to-date, net profit attributable to shareholders grew by 157.45% to RMB 1,112,648,015.41.

The company also reported a 27.85% increase in third-quarter operating revenue to RMB 15,078,374,967.92 and a 1,329.19% rise in total profit to RMB 301,816,192.63. For the first nine months of 2025, total operating revenue climbed 27.09% to RMB 45,449,365,986.35, and total profit increased 127.79% to RMB 1,052,124,460.79.
