CITIC Securities unit issues $7.5m notes with subsidiary guarantee

CSI MTN Limited, an indirect subsidiary of CITIC Securities, plans to issue $7.5 million in medium-term notes on October 31, 2025, under its existing offshore medium-term note program. This issuance will be guaranteed by CITIC Securities International Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC Securities. Following this transaction, the total principal amount of outstanding notes under the program will reach $2.711 billion.

This move is intended to supplement the operational capital of the guarantor group. CITIC Securities holds 100% control over CSI MTN Limited through CITIC Securities International.

As of the announcement date, CITIC Securities and its controlled subsidiaries' total external guarantees amounted to RMB185.224 billion, representing 63.19% of the company’s latest audited net assets. The company reports no overdue guarantees.
